Every Yamazing smart shade is made to order and built to last. We stand behind our craftsmanship with a straightforward warranty and a promise to make things right. This page explains what your coverage includes, what it doesn't, and how to reach us if something isn't perfect.
What's Covered
Yamazing provides a 3-year warranty on motor and control systems. We will replace or repair your product at no charge when the issue is caused by:
- Defects in materials or craftsmanship
- Manufacturing errors in size or fabric
- Damage that occurred during shipping
Key Timeframes
- 30 days to report any discrepancy or damage after you receive your order.
- 24 hours to cancel or modify an order before it is finalized for production.
- 30 days validity on any discount offer toward a replacement.
What's Not Covered
This warranty does not cover damage, malfunction, inoperability, or fit issues diagnosed by Yamazing as caused by:
- Normal wear and tear;
- Abuse, misuse, or incorrect installation;
- Measurement errors in the dimensions you provided (the shade was made correctly to those measurements);
- Repairs or modifications made by unauthorized parties;
- Environmental factors and events beyond our control (e.g., fire, flooding).
Labor costs for diagnosis and repairs, and any damage to other property, are also excluded.
Your Options If Something Isn't Right
Incorrect measurements you provided. Our warranty covers manufacturing errors, including shades we made to the wrong size. It does not cover shades that were produced correctly to the measurements you provided but don't fit because of a measurement error on your end. In those cases, we can still help:
- If the shade is too large, it may be possible to trim it to fit. Trimming has a fixed cost based on the size of the shade and the product type, and some products can't be trimmed — reach out and we'll provide an estimate.
- If the shade is too small, or trimming isn't possible for that product, you can order a correctly-sized replacement at a 25% discount.
Not satisfied. If a product arrives defective, we will remake or repair it. Alternatively, we offer 25% off a replacement product within 30 days.
How to File a Warranty Claim
Filing a claim is simple. To help us resolve it quickly, please have the following ready before you reach out:
- Your order number or proof of purchase;
- A short description of the issue;
- Photos or a video showing the problem.
Then:
- Email us at contact@yamazing.com with the details above, or call us at +1 669 254 9568.
- Our team will review your claim and confirm whether it's covered, usually within a few business days.
- Once approved, we'll arrange the repair, replacement, or remake — and keep you updated until it's resolved.
Please remember to report any discrepancy or damage within 30 days of receiving your order so we can act on it under this warranty.
